Brixham in Devon

Brixham
Nestled in a sheltered spot on the south coast of England, and part of the Torbay district, Brixham is a charming, picturesque fishing town and popular holiday resort.

Brixhams history goes back to prehistoric times as evidence has been found of neolythic man in caverns in the town, later the Romans had settlements in and around the town. Possible Brixhams main claim to historical fame would be the landing of William Prince of Orange who set foot in Brixham on his way to London to claim the English crown.
In recent years Brixhams fortunes, particularily the fishing industry have waxed and waned, but at the moment it seems to be surviving well?
